Ensign College retains sole responsibility and control over the decision of whether each student meets the requirements necessary to register in Ensign College courses. Ensign College transcripts will show courses taken and grades earned, which information is part of the student’s permanent academic record. Dual enrollment students are limited to fifteen credit hours per semester.
Counseling
A student is encouraged to meet with his or her high school counselor prior to registering for Ensign College dual enrollment to ensure classes fulfill high school graduation requirements and are not repeats or redundant to a prior course.
Dual Enrollment Credit Transferability
Other institutions of higher education that a student may subsequently attend make decisions about their acceptance of dual enrollment course credits. It is the student’s responsibility to check with the receiving institution on the transferability of dual enrollment credits. Ensign College makes no guarantee how credits will transfer to another institution.
Financial Aid and Scholarships, Employment, and Housing
Federal and institution financial aid and scholarships are not available to dual enrollment students. Ensign College student employment and preferred student housing are not available to dual enrollment students.
